Anyone can rent a dumpster and Chet’s Disposal makes it super easy. Just decide the size you would like to use, and rent it online, right now. Yes, it is that easy. If you wake up at 2 in the morning with a plan to renovate the backyard, you can get up and order your dumpster right then! Chet’s Disposal offers several roll off dumpsters that are delivered to and picked up right from your door. If you are not sure what size to rent, just call us and explain your project and we can help you decide. You do not want to rent too small or too big a roll off dumpster if you do not have to. Here are some things to consider as you select a size:

Kind of debris: There is a difference between organic yard debris and waste from a structure demolition. Consider bulk, weight and how it will lay in the dumpster.

Unacceptable Materials: Hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids), other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil/lubricating/hydraulic oil/oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, appliances that have freon or radioactive material like microwaves, refrigerators and AC units, petroleum-contaminated soil/lead paint chips, tires, batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, fluorescent tubes, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, mattresses/box springs all liquids.

Weight: Will you be able to lift the debris you have into the dumpster? Will you need to hire someone to help you? Is the debris the kind that can be broken down into smaller, lighter pieces, or is it “bulk debris?”

Space Hogs? Another thing to consider is what you are placing into the dumpster. If you are throwing away bulky items like old cabinets, or furniture that is hard to break down, the dumpster fills up quickly. You may need to order a larger size, or plan on spending time with a hammer breaking down boxes etc.
